How to copy a movie to my book live

Today we have the 1TB My Book Live from Western Digital, a single drive NAS of sorts, but not in the traditional sense.

Here this post is mainly talking about how to copy a movie to my book live. There a two ways to backup a movies onto my book live, full disc copy or main movie copy. Now show the details of each way to all.

Main movie backup:
As we know, most Blu-ray movies in M2TS format, the Blu-ray M2TS backup means with any quality lossless, the process don't decode or encode. Belows is a guide:

Step 1. Launch the Best Blu-ray Ripper and click “Load file(s)” to load original Blu-ray discs.

You need a Blu-ray Disc drive (either external or internal) to read Blu-ray Disc. DVD-ROM can not read Blu-ray Disc.



Step 2. Click “Format” to find “Copy” option, Select “Directly Copy”, which allows saving 100% intact .M2TS main movie from original BD disc, and allows all subtitle and audio tracks preservation.

Tips:

As Directly Copy is a 100% Blu-ray M2TS backup, so you don’t need to change any settings, just keep it original.
If you select other output format, you are allowed adjusting output video and audio parameters, such codec, size, bit rate, frame rate, etc in order to have a high quality videos.

Step 3. Click “Convert” button to start lossless Blu-ray M2TS Backup for Main Movie, which is working a very fast speed. Then find the generated files by clicking “Open” button.



Having reading above guides, it is easy to find out that it is an easy-to-use software without any video and audio out of sync issue.

Full disc copy:
It will copy Blu-ray to my book live with EXACTLY the original file structure without anything changed.

Step 1.Have your computer networked so that the ripper can access key for cracking the copy-protections. Run the Blu-ray cloner.
 
Step 2. Click “Load Disc” button to load Blu-ray to the Ripper.The CSS and region code protection get hacked when loading.

Step 3. Click the “Full Disk Copy” button to start archiving Blu-ray to hard drive in VIDEO_TS structure.It takes 5-10 minutes to back up a single layer Blu-ray to hard drive and 10-15 minutes to copy a dual layer Blu-ray.

When copying completes, you can click “Open” to find Blu-ray digital copy. The backed up Blu-ray movie is usually saved as a directory file structure within which there are VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS folder. The VIDEO_TS folder contains main movies (.m2ts) and lots of system files (.iso and .bup).
